Empowering Educators, Women, and Families Through Counseling, Professional Learning, and Action Research for Adult Growth and Leadership- Counseling services are designed for adults, including educators, women, and caregivers.

My name is Dr. Jessica Robbins, and I am an action researcher who earned a Doctorate in Executive Educational Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). In 2025, I conducted an action research study examining faculty trust in principals, with a specific focus on how female principals in Title I schools cultivate and strengthen trust with their faculty in the post–COVID-19 era. Using Brené Brown’s BRAVING framework as my analytical lens, I identified specific leadership behaviors that intentionally build and sustain trust within school communities.  I am also a Principal and a Marriage and Family Therapy, Intern, in Nevada.

Professional Learning For Educators

Ocean Blvd Insights exists to transform educator practice and strengthen school systems through high-quality, research-based professional learning that integrates trust-centered leadership with the core competencies required for educator licensure. I  deliver flexible, online learning experiences designed to meet state licensure requirements while advancing the human-centered leadership practices essential for thriving schools. Grounded in research on faculty trust, systems leadership, and educator effectiveness, our courses equip educators to build relational trust, implement effective instructional and organizational systems, and lead with clarity, integrity, and accountability. Ocean Blvd Insights is committed to developing educators who not only meet licensure standards but also cultivate cultures of trust, elevate collective efficacy, and drive meaningful, sustainable student achievement.

Counseling Services

Counseling provides a safe space to explore daily challenges, reclaim your voice, and cultivate clarity and freedom. As a principal and action researcher, I help women lead with clear boundaries, grounded decision-making, and consistent actions that build healthy cultures—honest communication, reliable follow-through, and environments where people feel safe to speak.

Self-trust is the precursor to everything. When women trust themselves, they lead with confidence, decide with clarity, and show up authentically. And when that happens, everything shifts. You don’t have to carry it alone.

How I Will Help

I work with women who lead, carry, and navigate responsibilities most people never see-women ready to step into their power and lead with confidence. As a woman in leadership, I know the quiet weight you carry: the pressure to be strong while managing work, home, and everything in between. I’ve lived it, and I’ve studied it. For more than 25 years, I’ve been an educator and counselor—school counselor, assistant principal, and principal. I spent 12 years as a school counselor and over three years as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. I returned to this work to intentionally blend education and counseling because effective leadership requires attention to both systems and relationships.
